Teaching-Stream Faculty Position in Management Science and Engineering

The Department of Management Science and Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo invites applications for one probationary position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream to join our department with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025. In the case of an exceptional candidate, an appointment at the rank of Associate Professor will be considered.

Applicants should hold a PhD or be near completion of their doctorate in management science and have a background in management, psychology, sociology, computer, or industrial/systems engineering or a related field. The successful applicant is normally required to have an engineering license for practice (full) or teaching (limited) in Canada, or to apply for a Canadian engineering license within the first year of joining the University. Due to program accreditation requirements, all new faculty members teaching accredited programs are required to obtain the license within five years of initial appointment at the University of Waterloo and maintain it during their employment at the University.
