The finalists performed extremely well in the competition session Yesterday, and the committee appreciates their oral performance and their efforts to answer to the questions. They all have something in common – they did a great research work, and we want to thank also co-authors for their support.

The committee considers the paper that presents a novel contribution, and that deals with a relatively new topic in forestry. The winner is Marzieh Ghiyasinasab for her paper "Production planning and project scheduling for engineer-to-order systems- case study for engineered wood production."

Congratulations Marzieh!
